SpinFire Insight will end the option to purchase perpetual CAD viewer licenses starting September 1, 2026. Until this date, only existing customers who already own a perpetual license and have active maintenance can purchase additional perpetual licenses. This option does not apply to new customers.

Who does the change affect?

The option to purchase additional permanent SpinFire Insight licenses until September 1, 2026 is only available to customers who:

• already owns a permanent SpinFire Insight license,
• have valid maintenance for this license,
• want to expand the number of licenses or users.

New customers can no longer purchase a perpetual license. For them, SpinFire Insight licenses are available as a subscription or through an Enterprise agreement.

What will happen to existing perpetual licenses?

Existing perpetual licenses remain valid and their use is not restricted by the change. They will function as before, while maintaining active maintenance, and customers will have access to relevant updates and support.

The termination therefore only concerns the possibility of purchasing additional permanent licenses , not the validity of licenses already owned.

The change does not apply to Enterprise contracts.

The announced change by Tech Soft 3D does not apply to Enterprise contracts. These may be a suitable solution especially for companies that need to make SpinFire Insight available to a larger number of employees or multiple departments.

SpinFire Insight is used not only in design, but also in sales, purchasing, technological preparation of production, quality control, or in communication with suppliers.
