A new version of the universal browser SpinFire Insight 2026.1.0 has been released , which brings improved user experience, faster work with selected CAD assemblies, bug fixes, and updated importers.

New functionality and main changes:

• Parallel loading of CATIA V5 assemblies (Beta)
  The new beta feature allows you to load CATIA V5 assemblies in parallel using multiple CPU cores. According to internal tests, the manufacturer has most often delivered a speedup of approximately 15-20%, for some larger assemblies up to around 38%, especially when using the Quality and Balanced presets.
• Better PMI performance for complex assemblies
  Version 2026.1.0 improves the availability of PMI information, its visibility, and navigation to related CAD views. Hiding a part in the 3D scene now automatically hides its visible PMI, and selecting a part now highlights the corresponding item in both the CAD Views and Annotation trees.
• New homepage and clearer interface
  The Home page now offers faster access to file opening, sample data, help, and short videos for getting started. The left-hand panel layout has also been adjusted to make documentation, release notes, support, settings, and licensing more accessible.
• Other user improvements
  The colors of the 3D scene and navigation elements have been updated, the Quick Access Toolbar customization options have been expanded, and the tooltips of import presets have been clarified. It is also now possible to set the priority NX Reference Sets during import.

Updated importers:

• 3D formats: ACIS V34–V35 (2024–2025), NX 2512 Series, Revit 2026, SolidWorks 2026
• 2D formats: CATIA V5 2026, CATIA V6 R2026X, NX 2512 Series (up to 2512.4000), Solid Edge 2026, SolidWorks 2026

Bug Fixes:

The new version also addresses a number of bugs in the areas of stability, import, rendering, and system settings. For example, crashes when switching CAD views, scene flickering when opening section files, problems with HTML export, behavior of import options in Windows 11, and problems with displaying global coordinates have been fixed.

Important notice for floating licenses:
For version SpinFire Insight 2026.1.0 it is necessary to update Floating License Manager on version 11.19.8.0 and request new license files. Older versions of the license manager and the original license files are not compatible with this version. The reason is to fix a security vulnerability in the licensing technology used.
