SpinFire Insight 2025.3.0 brings major improvements to CAD data import and new configuration options.

Newest version SpinFire Insight 2025.3.0 brings significant expansion of CAD file import options, new control dialogs for more precise work with data, and a number of user improvements that make model configuration and analysis easier. At the same time, support for the system ends Windows 10.

Main news in version 2025.3.0

Improved CAD data import

SpinFire Insight now supports the latest formats and expands model compatibility:

• Creo 12

• Parasolid 38

• NX 2506 series (3D and 2D)

• First support for NX Reference Sets, which improves the fidelity of loaded reports

  
  

New behavior when opening files (Drag & Drop)

When dragging a file into an already open document, a confirmation dialog will now appear, allowing you to decide whether you want the data:

• open in a new workspace

• or import into an existing

  Additionally, this option can be set as the default and changed at any time in Options > Application tab > Settings section > Default drag-and-drop load operation option.

Advanced import preferences

The number of preset import profiles has increased from three to fourThe new profiles offer a more balanced choice between performance, detail, and data size, making it easier for users to choose the optimal approach for a specific task.

New dialog for selecting preferences when opening

When opening a CAD file (Folder > Open, drag and drop or double-click), a new dialog will appear allowing you to:

• select an alternative import preference for this specific import only

• skip future queries ("Don't ask next time")

• open the detailed settings of a specific format directly

  
  This step gives users finer control over both quality and loading speed.
