On September 13 and 14, 2022, the 16th edition of the IT Forum conference took place in the Wine Wellness Hotel Amande in Hustopeče. The two-day meeting, organized by our company, was attended by forty experts, mostly from among our customers.

The first day was opened by Pavel Mareš, CEO of TD-IS, who briefly introduced the company and the range of services that the company and its products can offer to its customers. He then focused on a number of processes that companies do not cover and yet have significant potential for increasing productivity. The representative of the company in which we have been using our solutions for 20 years, Doosan Škoda Power sro, Daniel Komorous, informed about the implementation of the PLM solution. The lecture by Milan Černý, who assessed the development of information systems in industrial companies and whether the assumptions for deploying the systems met all expectations, caused a significant response. He compared the contradiction between the rapid technical development and the development of IT in companies. He indicated where the development of artificial intelligence and data mining from various sources is going.

A very interesting contribution to the conference was the lecture by Ivo Matoušek, who vividly demonstrated the possibilities of generic modeling in Inventor.

Aleš Tryml gave a peek under the hood to the development team and presented the new generation of TD-IS's ERP system - EasyTechnology 2. The schedule of lectures was packed and the first day of the conference was concluded by Aleš Novosad - head of the IT department from a company with more than 60 years of experience in the production of technical plastic moldings - PeHToo as. In addition to evaluating the long-term cooperation with TD-IS, he shared with the conference participants his experience with a hacker attack on their company, and it was once again confirmed that it is necessary to take care of your data safely and that it does not only happen, as we see in TV series, in hospitals and in multinational corporations with billions in turnover.

The informal afternoon program was evaluated very positively. Thanks to favorable weather, it was held at a vineyard in Horní Věstonice, and the participants had the opportunity to experience firsthand what it means to be a winemaker. Competitions in shooting starlings, wine tasting, getting to know the scents, reaching for the basket, a question quiz and the opportunity to fill your own wine, made the amazing view of the sunset more pleasant. An informal discussion with the conference participants continued afterwards back at the hotel, where the day ended with the handing over of the raffle prizes.

On the second day, Pavel Mareš started the program again, but this time representing Mr. Tomáš Kába, from VALUE 4industry s.r.o., who could not attend the lecture due to health reasons, with a lecture on the topic of Using Easy PLM in the 4Value group, where the solution has been deployed since 2005. first for data management from CATIA, later also SolidWorks. In 2018, there was a significant expansion, especially with bill of materials, technological procedures and connection with the system for planning and production management.

Vladimír Pfeffer introduced the universal technical viewers Oracle AutoVue, Spinfire from Actife (team collaboration on a single document, measurement, annotation, CAD project information without CAD). The conference concluded with a discussion with Petr Mára on data security and data recovery strategies, which was included again in the program due to last year's great interest from participants. In parallel with the workshops, consultations were also held with the CAD team, which prepared new products in Autodesk products , the use of CAD tools to facilitate the creation of assembly and service instructions and catalogs, the use of Autodesk Forge and Raster Design.
